Oahu Hotels

A hotel can either complete or completely ruin your vacation, and it is the second most important choice you will make for your trip next to your itinerary itself. Oahu has the most lodging options out of all the islands, and there is something here that caters to almost everyone.

The Kahala Resort and Hotel has been visited by multiple celebrities ever since its opening in 1964. Notable visitors include Frank Sinatra, Tom Cruise, Billy Joel, every US president from Nixon to Clinton, Queen Elizabeth and the Dalai Lama. Guests can do everything here from swimming with dolphins in Dolphin Lagoon to get a private massage in a 550 square foot private suite. Each room has a unique view of either Waikiki beach or the Dolphin lagoon.

The Royal Hawaiian has been attracting visitors since 1927. This hotel is remembered by all of its guests, as it is the only entirely pink hotel to grace the beaches of Waikiki. It even has its own private roped-off beach area, an exclusive setting for outrigger canoeing, surf lessons and Waikiki's only oceanfront luau.

Ebassy Suites Honolulu Hawaii Hotel offers guests a high rise urban retreat within just a few blocks from Waikiki Beach. The hotel has four restaurants inside and offers one and two bedroom suites featuring microwaves, refrigerators and LCD TVs. High-speed Internet access is complimentary.

The Ala Moana Hotel is the perfect hotel for the serious shopper, as it is adjacent to the Ala Moana Center shopping mall. It is also across the street from the Hawaii Convention Center and 1 block from the family-friendly Ala Moana Beach Park. The top floor of this thirteen story building is a restaurant, while the third floor is home to sundeck houses and an outdoor pool.

The Sheraton Princess Kaiulani is located just half a block away from the sands of Waikiki beach. This hotel also has its own buffet-dinner show, which has become quite popular among guests of the hotel and other visitors alike. The show has three stages featuring actors, dancers, singers and a Samoan fire-knife dance.

The Ohana Waikiki Beachcomber also has all the shopping you could ask for right next door. It is adjacent to the open-air International Market Place, across the street from the multi-cultural dining at the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center and located above Macy's department store. It is also home to the Don Ho show, the Magic of Polynesia show and Elvis impersonator, Jonathan Von Brana's Blue Hawaii show.
